Download is a jar file that won't open

This is my first time here. The download for the launcher is just a single jar file by itself and attempting to open it results in an error message stating "Could not find the main class: org.dreambot,launcher.DreamLauncher. Program will exit." I've never had this problem with any download before. What is going on?

What operating system are you using?

im having the same issue im on windows 10

Make sure its opening with java.  Right click the file , properities, open with and select java or JDK and I think JRE?

First be sure to have jdk and jre installed

Then run with JRE
