Hello everyone I’ve been encountering a very frustrating issue and was wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar or might have suggestions for a fix. Ever since I installed DreamBot for OSRS, my keyboard has started to register multiple and repeated keystrokes instead of holding them down as it should when gaming. This behavior isn’t just in OSRS but also in other games like League of Legends and Genshin Impact. For instance, in LoL, when trying to charge an ability that requires a key to be held down, it registers as if I'm rapidly pressing the key multiple times. The same occurs in Genshin Impact with chargeable abilities. It’s worth mentioning that I only experience this problem while gaming; the keyboard functions perfectly fine when typing or performing other tasks. This leads me to believe that it could be specifically related to how games process keyboard input. I’ve tried basic troubleshooting such as checking game settings, updating drivers, and even formatting my PC, but the issue remains. Best regards UPDATE: Issue Resolved Hello again, I wanted to provide an update on the keyboard issue I previously posted about. I'm delighted to share that the problem has been resolved! After trying various suggested fixes to no avail, the solution turned out to be surprisingly simple. Following a friend's advice, I disconnected my keyboard and connected it to a different USB port. This seemingly straightforward action prompted Windows to register the keyboard as a new device, thereby fixing the repetitive keystroke registration issue I was experiencing in games. It appears that the underlying issue might have been a registry error possibly introduced by third-party software, which was rectified by re-establishing the keyboard's connection to the system. If anyone else is experiencing similar issues, especially after using software like DreamBot for OSRS, it may be worthwhile to try this simple fix first.
