rokaHakor 171 Share Posted May 19, 2017 I saw Script's thread stating that he was buying gold for $0.92/m and I decided that I should probably sell some of the gold that I had accumulated. https://dreambot.org/forums/index.php/topic/9941-buying-all-osrs-gp-at-92m-btc/ We get it worked out that I would sell him 50m and if it went well I would sell him more. I trade the 50m over and he says he sent the BTC. I check my wallet and I see only $41.72 when it should be $46. I ask him whats going on. So he sends the rest after a couple hours but the transactions haven't been confirmed yet. I'm thinking that's fine since it can take a couple hours sometimes and head to bed. The next day I check my wallet and the transactions still haven't been confirmed even though it has been 14 hours. So I ask Scripts whats up. He shows me it was still pending on his end so I think whatever I'll just wait 24 hours because he may have paid the minimum transaction fee. The next day it has still not gone through even after 34 hours so I start planning on opening a dispute and I let Script know. The transaction disappears from my CoinBase account. So I contact him again. He says that the transaction should fail and he will get the BTC back after 3 days then he will send me the money with a higher transaction fee. So I wait the full 3 days and now I've let Script know he has to pay me back. And the worst part is that he is trying to flip the gold I sold him for more. UPDATE: After 4 days the transaction finally disappears. I contact him to let him know. Then he ends up sending 0.023127 BTC instead of the 0.02673205 BTC I would have gotten four days ago. So he doesn't even have the decency to give me the proper amount of BTC I would have gotten if he hadn't fucked up his transaction. Honestly one of the biggest scumbags I've encountered. Script 10 Share Posted May 20, 2017 I also told roka, Im not sending you the higher usd amount that bitcoin went up to. Since I priced the payment in US dollars, not bitcoin, I sent him 46 Us dollars.
Hashtag 8688 Share Posted May 23, 2017 To my understanding @Script sent what was meant to be sent. @rokaHakor you were told that the original amount ($46) was going to be sent to you and you apparently agreed on that by replying "ok".
rokaHakor 171 Author Share Posted May 23, 2017 When the transaction disappeared I said "I'd like my 50m back" because I did want to deal with this guy anymore and just wanted my money back immediately. When he said "I'm sending the amount that it used to be" I understood that as the amount of BTC that it used to be AKA 0.02673205 BTC. I would have demanded my 50m back but since I was still going to get my appropriate BTC amount I figured whatever I'll just take the bitcoin. At this point I don't want to deal with that guy ever again and I sincerely hope my feedback is not removed since it is an accurate statement regarding my transaction with that user. I've even had other users contact me regarding him.
