In Canada, its controversial, but where I'm from its legal to download, illegal to upload. not too big of a problem, even our government officials use pirated goods so whos gonna stop anyone. Just a few years back, the biggest piracy market in the Philippines got raided by the cops, funny how they were only able to confiscate 1/50th of the total pirated goods. Why? Apparently some dudes in the department of trade and industry were aware of the plans to raid, and they informed the big sellers in the market to only bring a small amount of goods. In a country so corrupt it costs A LOT more to pursue a case, and so cheap to defend, no one is gonna do shit lol. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
