fair enough. I'll remove the above posts regarding Virmach proxies and stick to my $3 per month vps. I can only see a $2/$3 vps per year being shit. the other thing I don't get with 'proxy business' unless they're just subnetting, how is someone able to obtain hundreds/thousands of IP addresses? RIR and for us Europeans RIPE will only let you have a couple of IP addresses per instance and following that you need to be registered to request more addresses? How do people obtain large blocks?

you have few options.

 

#1 - Become LIR and obtain 256 IP at price of 3000 euro per year. I think only 1 /24 block per company so 24p/month/dedicated ip. Or $2.88/year

 

#2 Use a NAT VPS Provider (these are $1-3/year), comes with high risk of someone using the ip for rs

 

#3 Purchase a $12/year vps which dedicated IP so $1/month/dedicated ip

 

#4 Purchase OVH server and 256 IP's for around 550$/one time fee and only fee after that is the server which is about $60/month = $720/year for 256 IPs

 

There are even cheaper methods that I could discuss with you in private.

Looked into OVH and only found 5 IP addresses per service but you could purchase RIPE blocks additionally but then I saw something about the dedicated server already coming with 256 addresses?
