Could you try clearing your cache by enabling fresh start in client settings and restarting your client to see if it still selects the wrong spell? I'm not sure why you don't have the "Filters" button on the bottom of the magic tab. Could you try deleting C:\Users\You\jagexcache directory manually and restarting the client?
