    Oh lol. Well, OT: Learn every language you that you feel you can, each has their own set of pros/cons and the more you know the better really.

    Not necessarily. He might be better off mastering one language than trying to learn so many that he is a master of none of them.

    If you know java and want to do some windows programming, C# is a nice imtermediary to C++. It will teach you the windows features you need to look out for when dealing with C++, but in a CLR/JVM style memory management. For instance, learning how to deal with COM instances is much easier in C# to C++ than just starting with C++.

     

    Eventually you should move to C++ as its much more powerful
