qbots 239 Share Posted July 21, 2015 Oh lol. Well, OT: Learn every language you that you feel you can, each has their own set of pros/cons and the more you know the better really. Not necessarily. He might be better off mastering one language than trying to learn so many that he is a master of none of them.
Chris 154 Share Posted August 13, 2015 If you know java and want to do some windows programming, C# is a nice imtermediary to C++. It will teach you the windows features you need to look out for when dealing with C++, but in a CLR/JVM style memory management. For instance, learning how to deal with COM instances is much easier in C# to C++ than just starting with C++. Eventually you should move to C++ as its much more powerful
hotyute 8 Share Posted August 13, 2015 C++ is definitely a great language and I definitely recommend C or C++. If you learn these languages you learn all in my opinion.
