How do I run Dreambot on Ubuntu 20.04

Hello!

I used to run dreambot on a lightweight Linux back in the days, nut now when I try to run Ubuntu 20.04 on my VPS I can only run Dreambot, login and choose script but the client remains gray. It does not load up the runescape interface.

I have installed openJDK8.

I can play runescape normally trough original client.

 

Any suggestions?

I have the same problem on Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS. Cant load the actual game client.

EDIT: OK, I semi-solved the problem...

I use a VPN (One of those personal ones with a fancy app.)
If I turn on the VPN, it will load just fine. (Woah, this bot is a lot more impressive than RuneMate guys.)

But without VPN on, it wont connect to Dreambot servers? Seems a little strange to me, but have had the same problem with another program on my Windows PC (a "brand" of AKH that sells a script collection). It too wont load without having a VPN on.
I do not use kill-switch etc. 

Would like to use my home-ip for botting, so if anyone have any possible solutions please let me know. :) Thanks
