jimbob3 0 Share Posted January 23, 2021 Mot really sure where to go with this but I've had my OSRS account suspended for using a bot (which I was). I had used Dream AIO Miner And Alch Teleporter. I had only used them both for 3 or 4 days... nothing excessive... just a couple hours here and there. I always made sure to monitor the screen in case someone tried engaging with me and had no issues. All was working well until I tried to log in this morning and have had my account suspended for a couple days with the warning that it'll be permanently banned if I do it again. How did it know I was botting? I was considering purchasing a couple more scripts but obviously think it's pointless if my accounts are just going to get deleted. The offence evidence type is: Jagex Moderator Comment The message then reads:##Account temporarily banned for macroing in OldSchool. Our macro detection system has been monitoring your account closely and has detected that you are using illegal 3rd party software which violates the rules of the game and breaches your terms of service with Jagex. Our team have reviewed the evidence and can confirm that you were using illegal botting software. Jagex are able to accurately detect all illegal 3rd party software and any promises from their makers about being 'totally undetectable' or 'no ban guaranteed' are inaccurate. As such your account has been temporarily removed from the game. Please take this time to familiarise yourself with the rules. Please help! yeeter 520 Share Posted January 23, 2021 Sounds just like bad luck it happens sadly. I have had accounts banned in under 48 hours or some go all the way past 6 months with 0 bans. I would suggest starting a new account to experiment on with scripts before running it on accounts of higher value.
