ForseenEnding 0 Share Posted January 5, 2021 I've used a couple of tutorials and examples for adding custom WebNodes and PathNodes in an attempt to make a path up a ladder. Is there a way to get this to work? The web node tool shows a path going to the added ladder but when I try using Walking to walk to another Z-axis that should be up the ladder it cannot find a path there. Trying to clean up some hardcode that just looks messy simple for handling a ladder.
Pandemic 2702 Share Posted January 5, 2021 The local walker should handle ladders as long as the X/Y don't change. If they do change, you'd need to add something like an entrance node.
ForseenEnding 0 Author Share Posted January 12, 2021 Sorry for the delayed response, do you have an example of a "entrance node"? When trying to walk up the ladder of the windmill in lumb Walking.canWalk() returns true while Walking.walk() returns false for the same tile (Tile(3166, 3307, 2)). Also attempting to add custom nodes for the ladder results in the nodes and path being present on the Web Node Tool, but the script doesnt try to execute the nodes.
