Nebraska 136 Posted May 7, 2015 STUDY WAS NOT DONE OR WRITTEN BY ME, STUDY BY PITTMAN. From another community edit: I am not saying this is my opinion just thought you guys may be interested. Hello, I am Raymond and I am a computer programmer from the southern lands. Anyways, I have been doing extensive testing about why accounts get banned that are level 3 & level 100. And it led me to some very fascinating information that you guys should find helpful. Jagged seems to run on the 6th day of every week a detection for bots that have been logged in for around 10 hours plus, or that might have been flagged for betting but not evaluated yet. So do not bot on day 6 of the week, for example a good way to tell their schedule is right before any news posted on old schools runescape's page is the day before they run the search. It has not failed me, and I have always been banned right on that day if ever. It makes perfect sense to keep things in order. They can't just be having someone randomly banning people, they schedule a consistent date and then run the search. Not only that, they will ban any account large amounts of gold were traded with within the last day, or any accounts recently logged into that same IP. Also the only other thing that gets you banned I noticed is, a brand new level 3. You must train one skill to around level 35, then move to betting your permanent skill for only 5-6 hours first day (not overnight) then around 2nd day you can go harder and should be fine. This always seems to be the case. I managed to get some 99's in agility, magic, and strength. Then account's were banned because I needed to test my theory. But it was 100% successful.. Best of luck Last Search: May 6, 2015. Next Search: May 12, 2015. (Do not log into your account on the 6th day or bot the day prior.). Please feel free to engage on your trials and errors into this thread, so others can read and help change errors that led to bans. -Moved thread here. TIPS UP: 1) New accounts don't play for few days after creation. 2) New accounts make member through purchasing own bond on account, not received by main or main will get banned. 3). Don't bot day prior to 6th day of week JAGEX TIME schedule based off last news posting. 4). Activity on other accounts mules/mains ceases 1 day prior to 6th day of week JAGEX time, to limit bans if any. Level 100 main 1000 days old, 30 days playing time., was banned because it was booted 10 hours for one time in a non popular boting spot 5th day of week. Level 110 main 700 days old, 50 days playing time, banned because of not exercising my strategies. All tested by me.
XYZ 32 Posted May 7, 2015 No sorry I suicide like a mother fucking 7 days a week 24 hours a day and Its not this format they do however implement bans into effect on thursday and moday + an auto system to ban any account on the banned ip.
Vlad 216 Posted May 7, 2015 I go 24/7 and the longest I've lasted is 39 days. This makes me believe Jagex doesn't track time played. EDIT: I also know someone offsite who has been going 24/7 since 2014 with no bans at all.
Superman 49 Posted May 8, 2015 Post count WHOORRREESSS Tell me about it you post whores And tbh Jagex doesn't ban like auto, its mostly manual. I botted on shrimps on other bot 1-71 fishing. But you just gatta bot smart i guess.
Takeoff 17 Posted May 8, 2015 Bans are given out daily, not in any relation to the day of week. If anything in OP was true, I'd have been banned months ago.
Nebraska 136 Author Posted May 10, 2015 whoever did this "study" was probably very high. Based on his grammar and lack of logic and evidence, +1

It has some very interesting information that I would imagine holds some merit. I am in the process of testing some of this stuff out right now. I will then compile a data sheet to release.
_Josh 51 Posted May 17, 2015 Pretty sure popularity of the script and client contribute significantly to how Jagex detects you. For example OSB, having a much larger amount of users using its client, you can barely last a few minutes, even sometimes a ban on login. But yet I've seen people using their own private client or even clients from smaller communities achieve days of runtime non-existent to any popular client.
