    I was just wondering if convert mode actually does anything, since i read an old post saying that jagex patched it, and it doesn't have much benefits anymore. I know that people say that it might work and it might be useless, but i just want some information so I can compare it to features such as tribots LG, since I dont want to waste 8$ on vip whilst not seeing any real benefit and only getting vague gestures such as "it might help".

    I don't think you'll get much of an answer more than covert mode may/may not help reduce bans.

    In my opinion however, the main reason to purchase VIP is for multiple tab/client support. Covert mode certainly wont "prevent" bans, neither will LG.
