I'm on a mac with java 11 and java 8 installed

    After doing export JAVA_HOME=`/usr/libexec/java_home -v 1.8.0_191`

running java -version shows me this:

    java version "1.8.0_191"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_191-b12)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.191-b12, mixed mode)

Still when i click "launch client", the launcher just crashes without doing anything else...

    What should I do?

I managed to fix mine, i just re-downloaded the JDK and JAVA, then i made sure in in system preferences that the java icon was at the bottom of the list as it wasn't before. Then when i went into terminal to check java -version it was now a recognized command, so when i click launch now on dreambot it actually launches client and I can bot.

Which version of java are you using?

So I was thinking that I could somehow set the Client to use the java8 that i have while still having java 11 installed... after not getting that to work out, I uninstalled all java on the mac and reinstalled only java8, and now the launcher works again :)
