DaylightDies 9 Share Posted November 17, 2018 Hey guys! So with my coming back to OSRS and the botting community after a long couple of years... I figured now that I have the start up cash to fund a good few bonds, I would work on my favorite skill and start working on my favorite skill. Making Money! Just kidding, its Hunter (same thing tho?). I have spent the last week planning how to handle traps and think I have a good idea on priority and best xp methods and best practices, I have tested a few hunter bots as well as hand leveled an account past 80! Ideally I would want a bot that levels me 1-99 completely input free, but the way I would do it is different than the way someone else would - so I will NOT be do a progression method. Instead I will only be developing individual methods and have the ability to hunt anywhere you start the bot. Efficient methods of trapping, prioritization, timing. The goal is to have a near human xp rate, anticipated trap checking and 0 error/loss of traps. Personally I don't 100% believe in a true break system, and think breaks should be manually done instead of simulating. I might throw something like this into an "anti-ban" method, but might also include a script based break system.Roadmap: Quote Testing: Red/Gray Chinchompas Development: Birds Falconry Ideas with minimal/no current work: Orange/Red Salamanders (I don't have access to green). Black Sallys/Chins can be done as well, I just don't want to bother with a deathwalk, though I believe I have some good ideas to prevent/mitigate possible deaths... though the new GPU rendering distances on alt clients will most likely render this idea moot. Contemplations: Imp Boxes Eagles Peak (Quest) Varrock Museum (maybe release as separate script?). I am open to suggestions
