Nex 2542 Share Posted November 21, 2017 Can you give me an example of an inactive scripter that has some bugged scripts in the sdn atm? https://dreambot.org/forums/index.php/topic/7354-dezvals-varrock-battlestaff-flipper-up-to-400khr-no-reqs/page-20 https://dreambot.org/forums/index.php/topic/7587-dezvals-edgeville-falador-smelter-cannonballs-f2p-p2p/page-4 https://dreambot.org/forums/index.php/topic/7291-aio-smither-f2p-p2p-dezvals-aio-smither/page-3 https://dreambot.org/forums/index.php/topic/6136-299-f2p-100kh-gold-amulets/page-5 https://dreambot.org/forums/index.php/topic/4487-jdv-woodcutting-all-log-types-wide-selection-of-locations/page-8 Includes the scripter saying he's not gonna update it : https://dreambot.org/forums/index.php/topic/7852-xs-pest-control-early-access-50-off-discount-all-boats-prayers/page-5 Even trump, mods said hes permanently banned here yet all his scripts are still on the SDN
Koschei 147 Share Posted November 21, 2017 As long as the scripts are properly working they shouldn't need to be removed.
Peso 61 Share Posted November 22, 2017 As long as the scripts are properly working they shouldn't need to be removed. Considering how bad a lot of the scripts on the SDN are at the moment, I disagree...
Rubick 30 Share Posted November 22, 2017 Considering how bad a lot of the scripts on the SDN are at the moment, I disagree... How can they be working properly and be bad enough for you to disagree? wut? If the script works perfectly, there is no problem. Once the script is reported broken, that's when the timer should start for the scripter to show up and fix it. If they don't, then remove the script. No need to strip their tag, they have proven themselves. As far as getting the SDN cleaned up sooner than later, we should do our best to link people to the forum section that Hashtag mentioned, to promote properly reporting broken scripts. Bad as in broken, and when people do post there it takes a long ass time for anything to get done. Actually looking at it right now, nothing was done with most of the broken script reports.
