ok, and how do i go about that?
also, is the bot playing up because of the system update??

If you're going to use a proxy the public ones are garbage.

    Pay for one.

also could you please explain what a proxy is actually doing? and can  i still get banned?

Long story short, a proxy makes the IP Jagex sees you botting from look different.

This means that if you are botting more than one account from the same computer, Jagex will not be able to "chain ban" you. I.e. they can't just look at the IP address the account is being botted from and see that another account is also botting from the same IP. They will have to catch you seperately on each account.

This probably answers your second question, yes you can still get banned. Proxies do nothing to prevent bans, they only prevent chain bans. If you're not botting  multiple accounts, don't bother. And definitely don't bother if you're using a free proxy.

Edit: If you're still looking for paid proxies, go to the proxy section of the website.
